Wellbeing of Women: Research Project Grants

Wellbeing of Women’s (WoW) ambition is to find cures and develop new tests and treatments that will save and change the lives of women, girls and babies. They aim to achieve this by investing in high-quality, innovative research addressing areas of unmet need, as well as developing promising researchers to become academic leaders in women's health.
The following research project grants are open for application:
- WoW Research Project Grants: Support independent researchers leading their own work. Projects will be considered for basic science, clinical and translational research, including explanatory or feasibility studies and systematic reviews, that seeks to improve the health of women, girls and babies in one of the following areas: (1) Fertility, pregnancy and birth; (2) Gynaecological and reproductive health; (3) Gynaecological cancers.
- Wow-PRUK Research Project Grants: Co-funded grants with Pharmacy Research UK, which support independent researchers leading their own work in the field of pharmacy and women’s reproductive and gynaecological health. This call will cover clinical and translational medical research looking at the practice of pharmacy and pharmacists or exploring the role pharmacists can play in delivering the best possible patient benefit across one or more areas under Wellbeing of Women’s remit: fertility, pregnancy and birth; gynaecological and reproductive health; and gynaecological cancers.
