This Fellowship is intended for researchers with specialisms in motor neuron disease or chronic respiratory infection, or related areas of these two LifeArc Translational Challenges. LifeArc’s mission is to advance translation of early science into health care treatments or diagnostics that can be fully developed and made available to patients. LifeArc have their own drug discovery and diagnostics development facilities, supported by experts in technology transfer and intellectual property who also provide services to other organisations. LifeArc’s model is built on collaboration, and they partner with a broad range of groups including medical research charities, research organisations, industry and academic scientists.
This Fellowship is available to talented professionals wishing to return to research with specialisms in motor neuron disease or chronic respiratory infection, or related areas of these two LifeArc Translational Challenges.
Ideally the Fellowship may be held at LifeArc’s scientific research facilities in Stevenage or Edinburgh. An academic centre partnering on the Translational Challenges of motor neuron disease or chronic respiratory infection would be considered.
