Prevent Breast Cancer are aiming to fund one grant up to a total cost of £100,000 and three to four smaller grants of up to £30,000. Applications should be for research into the early diagnosis, screening and prevention of breast cancer. Particular areas of interest are methods of improving breast screening and prevention strategies such as preventative drugs, lifestyle prevention and surgical prevention. Another area of interest is breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis in under-served populations. Prevent Breast Cancer would be particularly (but not exclusively) interested in research that builds on these topics.
