NIHR Public Health Research (PHR) Programme-New commissioned calls

The Public Health Research (PHR) Programme funds research to generate evidence to inform the delivery of non-NHS interventions, intended to improve the health of the public, and reduce inequalities in health. The PHR programme is accepting Stage 1 applications to their commissioned workstream for the following topics:

• 23/24 Application Development Award (ADA): The health impacts of dark kitchens and rapid grocery delivery services
• 23/26 Effectiveness of interventions aimed at preventing domestic abuse
• 23/27 Interventions to improve health outcomes for sex workers
• 23/28 Health impacts of having ‘No Recourse to Public Funds’
• 23/29 Reducing compound pressures on the NHS and social care
