NIHR Policy Research Programme (PRP) – New commissioned calls

The NIHR funds policy research to enable evidence informed policy making in health and social care. The NIHR PRP Programme invites applications for a research projects into the following:

• Evaluation of the Nursing 50k Programme: a single research project to evaluate the programme to deliver 50,000 more nurses in England.
• A qualitative study to understand the engagement, access, referral, and experiences of people with depression who might benefit from weight management services: a qualitative study to understand the engagement, access, referral, and experiences of people with depression who might benefit from weight management services.
• Understanding the economic case for domiciliary care: the project will seek to explore the cost-benefit and value for money of domiciliary care. The overall objective of the project is to build the economic evidence base on this important and under researched area of adult social care in England.
• Evaluation of alcohol-free and low-alcohol availability: a research project to monitor and evaluate the impact of Government policy to deliver a significant increase in the availability of alcohol-free and low alcohol products by 2025.
