MRC research boards and panels are comprised of a group of leading scientists who play a key role in delivering MRC objectives across the portfolio. The research boards hold their own research budgets and review and manage scientific activity within their specialist areas.

The following research boards are accepting applications:

 

• Infections and Immunity Board: Responsible for the MRC’s investments in infectious human disease and disorders of the human immune system. This includes and is underpinned by fundamental research into human pathogens, as well as the normal development and functioning of the human immune system, which informs mechanism of disease.
