Glaucoma UK funds medical research into the causes, detection and treatment of glaucoma. They have helped fund new developments in areas like stem cell treatment and technologies that improve the quality of life of people of all ages living with glaucoma. The Glaucoma Care Grant is open to all health and social care professionals (they are particularly keen to hear from optometrists, orthoptists, nurses and allied healthcare professionals).
