Future NIHR ICA fellowships/lectureships

The Health Education England (HEE) / National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Programme provides research training awards for health and social care professionals, excluding doctors and dentists, who wish to develop careers that combine research and research leadership with continued practice and professional development.

The following fellowships/lectureships will be available soon from the NIHR:

 

  • HEE/NIHR ICA Clinical Lectureship: The ICA Clinical Lectureship scheme supports early post-doctoral researchers from the health and social care professions (excluding doctors and dentists) who wish to establish themselves as independent practitioner academic researchers. The scheme is part of the HEE/NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Programme.
  • HEE/NIHR ICA Senior Clinical Lectureship: The ICA Senior Clinical Lectureship supports health and social care professionals (excluding doctors and dentists) who have extensive post-doctoral research experience and are establishing themselves as independent practitioner academics. Award holders are supported to undertake a programme of research whilst developing the specific skill sets required to achieve credibility as leaders in their field of research, whilst increasing influence in their professional practice.
  • HEE/NIHR ICA Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship: The Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship (CDRF) funds health and social care professionals to undertake a PhD and professional development in parallel, alongside continued professional practice. The scheme is part of the HEE/NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Programme.
