The NIHR Clinician Scientist Award (NIHR-CS) is a post-doctoral research training fellowship of up to 5 years and is not intended as programme or project grant. This award is designed to provide personal support for the applicant through buying out their salary costs and meeting the cost of a research project or programme that is appropriate as a training vehicle.
