The following awards are open for application from CRUK:
- Clinical Trial Award: Supports interventional clinical trials of cancer treatment (including systemic treatment, radiotherapy and surgery) with the aim of improving outcome. (Deadline: 5 October 2023)
- Experimental Medicine Award: funds highly ambitious translational research conducted in association with a clinical trial or well-designed clinical study. (Deadline: 5 October 2023)
- Biomarker Project Awards: provides funding for biomarker assay development, validation and qualification where there is a clear line of sight to clinical implementation. (Deadline: 29 November 2023)
- Biology to Prevention Award: This scheme aims to harness biological and mechanistic insights to provide new targets and approaches for cancer prevention. (Deadline: 14 December 2023)
- Prevention and Population Research Project Award: provide support for focused research proposals centred on key questions in prevention and population research. (Deadline: 14 December 2023)
