Alzheimer’s Society project grants are for more established researchers and provide funding for world-class dementia research. Funding is available for up to three years providing budgets for staff salary, consumables and equipment. Applications can be made for research projects which fit within the Alzheimer’s Society funding remit, which is organised into two streams:

The Drug Discovery programme funds research to identify and test drug treatments for Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Alzheimer's Society welcomes applications that identify and test drug treatments for Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. They are funding a portfolio of studies that look at the preclinical identification, and early and late phase testing of drugs for Alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia.
